Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first ancient capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided city tour that explores remarkable historical landmarks, including the Brazen Palace (Lovamahapaya), once a magnificent nine-storey structure, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, a revered Bo tree over 2,000 years old, grown from the original tree under which the Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Anuradhapura.
After breakfast, continue exploring Anuradhapura’s ancient wonders, including the iconic Ruwanweliseya Dagaba, the Abhayagiriya and Jetawanaramaya stupas, the beautifully designed Kuttam Pokuna (Twin Ponds), and the serene Samadhi Buddha Statue, admired worldwide as a masterpiece of ancient sculpture.
Later, proceed to Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka. Discover the ruins of the Royal Palace, the magnificent Gal Vihara with its rock-carved Buddha statues, the Lotus Bath, the Tivanke Image House, and the vast Parakrama Samudra, an ancient man-made reservoir built by King Parakramabahu the Great.
After the tour, continue to Sigiriya and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century. Climb the rock to explore the remains of the royal palace, landscaped gardens, mirror wall, and the world-famous Sigiriya frescoes.
En route to Kandy, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka, featuring ancient Buddha statues and vibrant murals. Stop at a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices.
Arrive in Kandy and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance.

After breakfast, enjoy a brief city tour of Kandy including a scenic drive along Upper Lake Drive. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, famous for its orchid collection and tropical plants.
