Day 1Colombo - Tangalle

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative at the arrival lounge and transferred to Tangalle (approximately 3½ hours).

Check in to the luxurious Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure, unwinding after your journey and enjoying the serene coastal surroundings.

Day 2Tangalle – Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of relaxation at the resort. Spend time on Tangalle’s pristine beach or unwind on your private balcony or terrace, complete with a cozy daybed and dining area, overlooking lush tropical gardens or the Indian Ocean.

Indulge in gourmet meals, refreshing drinks, and the tranquil ambiance of this exclusive beachfront retreat.

Day 3Mirissa – Whale & Dolphin Watching

Early morning transfer to Mirissa to begin an unforgettable whale and dolphin watching excursion (seasonal: December to April). Venture a few kilometres offshore with experienced local guides to witness pods of dolphins and magnificent marine life, including Blue Whales and Sperm Whales, which frequent Sri Lanka’s southern coastline.

After the excursion, return to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing by the beach.
Tip: Please carry sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

Day 4Tangalle – Yala National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Yala National Park (approximately 2 hours). Meet our safari crew at Yala Junction around noon and continue to your exclusive Yala Safari Camp.

Enjoy lunch at the camp before heading out for an evening game drive, offering your first glimpse into Sri Lanka’s rich wildlife.
Dinner and overnight stay at the safari camp.

Day 5Yala – Full-Day Safari Experience

Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic meals inside Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s most renowned wildlife reserve. Yala is home to the island’s famous “Big Four” — leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and wild buffalo — along with crocodiles, diverse birdlife, and stunning natural landscapes.

Explore reservoirs such as Butuwe, Mahaseelawa, and Uraniya, known for excellent wildlife sightings, especially during dry seasons.
BBQ dinner and overnight stay at the safari camp.

Day 6Yala – Colombo

After breakfast, depart for Colombo (approximately 5 hours). Check in to Cinnamon Red Colombo, a stylish city hotel offering comfort and convenience.

Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing or enjoying Colombo’s vibrant dining and city atmosphere.

Day 7Colombo – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 20 minutes) for your onward departure, marking the end of your unforgettable Sri Lankan beach and wildlife adventure.
